On the afternoon of August 24, 2021, the macro-investigation and research group of Shaanxi Dade Investment Group held a seminar on "Shareholding Structure Design and Equity Incentive". All members of the macro-investigation research group participated in the study and discussed and exchanged.
At the meeting, Mr. Wu Zijing, an EMBA lecturer of Peking University, gave an in-depth explanation on the equity structure design and equity incentives. The course first introduces that the design of equity structure and equity allocation are issues that founders and investors have to consider repeatedly during the financing process. They also involve personal interests and company interests, and have a profound impact on the development of the company. Then, it analyzes and compares the advantages and disadvantages of different equity structure design methods of start-up enterprises, and analyzes the serious consequences of unreasonable equity design and equity allocation on enterprise development with actual cases. Finally, it lists the preferred options and design steps for equity allocation, as well as how to use equity incentives to attract and retain talents.
Afterwards, the participants communicated on the content of this training, analyzed the equity allocation cases they had contacted in their previous work, and discussed the problems they may face in the future, so as to avoid possible problems in equity allocation.
