At 16:30 p.m. on May 23, 2018, the donation ceremony of “Philosophical and Political Talent Development Fund” and the Inspirational Achievement Symposium was successfully held on the first floor in “Huaide Hall” in Yanta Campus of the SNNU. “Philosophical and Political Talent Development Fund” is an education donation which was donated by Shaanxi Dade Investment Group to Shaanxi Normal University. Mr. Li Youmou, secretary of the CPC Committee of School of Philosophy and Government of SNNU hosted the event. Professor Yuan Zushe, Dean of the School of Philosophy and Government, deputy secretary general of the Education Foundation of Shaanxi Normal University; Jin Youyu, deputy director of the Alumni Association Office; Li Ye, associate professor and deputy secretary of the CPC Alumni Association Committee; and Wu Jianqiang, associate professor and vice-director of the Department of Administration and Management; Ms. Su Jing, the tutor of the undergraduates in2017, and the 5 donation receivers including Tan Chaoyue, Zhang Liangna, He Zhonghui, Zhou Wendan, Wang Feiying and some student representatives attended the event. Mrs. Lei Yingchun, chairman of Shaanxi Dade Investment Group was invited to participate in the event as the donator of the Philosophical and Political Talent Development Fund. Teachers and students were very excited to have this valuable opportunity to discuss with Mrs. Lei Yingchun about many questions of their personal future developments.

Mr. Li Youmou, secretary of the CPC Committee of the School of Philosophy and Government said that the "Philosophy and Political Talent Development Fund" was established on July 29, 2017. When Mrs. Lei Yingchun participated the “Returning Our Alma Mater” event held by the 1987’s graduates of the Department of Philosophy and Government, Mrs. Lei Yingchun, Chairman of Shaanxi Dade Investment Group, contributed the first donation of 50,000 RMB for the "Philosophy and Political Talent Development Fund" during that time. The fund is mainly used to subsidize students with financial difficulties as well as to financially support school fellows to return to school and communicate with each other. The purposes are to inherit the social and educational spirits taught by the School of Philosophy and Government, to cultivate new people in this field, to guide students to study diligently and actively participate in practice, and to build a favorable learning environment, so as to strengthen students’ social awareness and the sense of social responsibility.

Representatives of the fund-receiving students said that the donation fund means not only financial help but also spiritual encouragement for them. They promised they will not forget their original intensions. They emphasis that they will not only learn their professional knowledge to achieve excellent results, but also be useful people to repay their alma mater as well as the society. They will inherit the original intention of the Development Fund and become positive, good-hearted and upright people. Moreover they will carry forward the positive energy of “Sharing and caring” in future study and work. And they will make their contribution to help everyone around them in need, in order to fulfilling the original intention of the establishment of the "Philosophical and Political Talent Development Fund" and explaining its far-reaching significance.
Mrs. Lei Yingchun told the students that the temporary difficult life period does not represent the difficulty of whole lifetime. Hard work leads to great results. At the same time, college students need to have a healthy attitude and an open mind. They should focus on developing positive social knowledges and meaning of life, thus to lead themselves to the path of future success.

Before the end of the symposium, Li Youmou, on behalf of the School of Philosophy and Government of Shaanxi Normal University and the Education Foundation, presented Mrs. Lei Yingchun with the calligraphy work of Li Fuyun, former teacher of the Department of Political Education of Shaanxi Normal University, “Thrive Through Wisdom” to express affirmation and appreciation to Shaanxi Dade Investment Group and Mrs. Lei Yingchun for their kindness.
